Hi, I’m Guneet. I’ve spent over a decade building digital experiences at places like Microsoft, helping people find what they need. But my "other life" was always as an artist—acting, storytelling, creating.
I noticed a glaring gap: artists didn't have a space that felt like theirs.
There was nowhere psychologically safe - a place where you could be vulnerable about your creative process, find your people, and build something together.
I started imagining what that space could be. I called it Creative Connections—a place where artists could connect meaningfully, not transactionally.

One wants 6 months of perfection. The other wants to release in 2 weeks. The project dies. Back to square one.

MicDrop is the culmination of that experience meeting my deepest creative conviction: artists deserve better tools to find their people. We're not building another marketplace. We're not building another social network. We're building intelligent matching for creative collaboration - because the right partnership changes everything.

I built and scaled CitySurf, a fintech startup, to 7 cities and 30K+ users, closed million-dollar B2B deals, and led the largest volunteer program at the Commonwealth Games. I know what it takes to turn ambitious ideas into sustainable reality. What drew me to MicDrop? The chance to unlock potential at scale. While Guneet builds the product artists will love, I'm building the systems that let us scale it—our go-to-market strategy, label partnerships, and growth infrastructure. We're not just matching artists. We're creating a new standard for creative collaboration. And I'm here to make sure we build something that lasts.
